Railroad Safety Enhancement Act of 2008

Congress has passed this bill that addresses railroad safety issues. Of particular interest to railroad train service workers is the provision that prohibits workers from working more than six consecutive days without a 24 hour break, and increased rest periods between shifts from 8 hours to 10 hours.
